Venues

Located: Kitchen (main house)

Hungry? Then you have come to the right place. We are here all meals times from breakfast, lunch and dinner – we will be pleased to serve you. Although if you are peckish between these times you can visit The CafĂ© and get a snack from there.

Please note: a one way system will be operation throughout all meal times; the entrance is through the main house doors, turn right and go towards the kitchen area, then left into the dining room to obtain your meal. Once you have finished your meal please use the exit provided and return to the village areas by walking around the accommodation block. Please help us by leaving the dining area as soon as you have finished your meal to allow others a seat.

Located: Sports Hall building

Fancy a dance class, or early morning worship workout? Then this is the place you will need to be!

Located: The big white tent on the field

The main attraction, this is where all the main worship will be taking place, along with the other main activities of the weekend.

Located: On the croquet lawn

We will be hosting a vast range of activities here such as the football competitions.

Located: The Lounge (main house)

We will be open from 9:00am each morning and closing at 12:30am (except during worship). We will be selling a variety of sandwiches, sweets, drinks, cakes, pizza and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. This will be a great place to relax during the event, so feel free to pop in any time and meet the team.

Any issues or questions then please ask us, as we are also the site’s information point.

Phone dead or running low? You can charge your phone here for a small fee, unfortunately we can’t allow phone charging anywhere else on site as the chargers need to be PAT tested by our on site electricians.

Located: Sports Hall building (upstairs games room)

A place to chill out with friends, play some Xbox, have a chat or whatever you want really. The Base is open most of the time except during worship. We also have PlayStation and Wii consoles available – we are sure there will always be someone up for a challenge on Wii bowling!

Located: The Star Tent on the field

This will be the meeting point for most competitions and activities on the programme. In case of inclement weather, it likely some of the more outdoor activities will be moved here.

Located: Thurso Centre activity hall

We will be showing films old and new; see your village board for today’s choices. We will also be having a disco night in here, if you want to come down and show us your moves!

The Thurso Centre is located at the opposite end of the site to the villages, once you have walked past the front of the main house, go to your right and you will see a footpath which goes through an opening, follow this and you will be in the right place.

Located: Thurso Centre dining room

We will be running workshops during the weekend for leaders.

The Thurso Centre is located at the opposite end of the site to the villages, once you have walked past the front of the main house, go to your left and you will find us in the hall to the right.

Located: The Shed

In the Cornerstone there will be a calm and relaxing atmosphere for you to take the weight off your feet. There will be a collection of activities for everyone to take part in, to be creative and simply have FUN with the different events we have to offer.

If you have any burdening or fiery questions, pastoral leaders will be available to talk to you. We do not know everything, but we can help you in searching for the answer. We are a caring team, here to be a listening ear and all very much looking forward to meeting you.
